Good Old Days- Cover Songs from the Past

37 Radio Hits from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's

"Aside from being a martial artist since I was eight, I have been an avid musician on the side for nearly as long.

I began playing guitar when I was 17 and singing to my two older sister's records since I was a child.  I never took any formal lessons.
In the mid 1990's, I eventually formed a local band where I was lead singer and lead guitarist  It was short-lived with little success.
My Martial Arts career eventually took over nearly all of my free time when I moved to Ohio.

ABOUT 'GOOD OLD DAYS'

I have always believed that creativity and art go hand in hand with Budo.
They seem to be branches off of the same tree of expression.

After my 31st album, around 2019, it felt right to begin on this new musical project.  I have always wanted to do an album of cover songs.
There were so many great songs to choose from.  Each one of these songs holds a special place in my heart.
These are songs from our American culture and past that (if you are old enough) both you and I will resonate with.
They still bring back wonderful memories of younger days.

I felt so fortunate to be able to try and re-create these radio hits, albeit poorly in my little home-studio.

It is my hope that spending time with these cover songs will bring you some escapism and enjoyment.

May you keep finding new and hidden things in the mix each time that you listen. "
