THE DOJO is really making a difference in people's lives.

"I've been training in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu since 1996 (although I'm not in the organization any longer).......I found your Youtube channel this week. Well sir, I love it. I've trained with so many high ranking shidoshi/shihan that don't have a clue. I'm a cop for 25 years and have only trained cops, corrections and military. You sir, have a great grasp on reality. You are able to show the original kata, and then show a very good understanding way of using the principles in a practical way. I've seen very few over the years that can do this. Your students are very fortunate."
- Phil Ryan (You Tube)

"I know this is the right place when my 7yo girl is always looking forward to go to classes. They teach the kids self-defense techniques and much more. There is true camaraderie in the Dojo."

- Ogden Sevilla

"One of the most welcoming and friendly places I have ever been.
Mr. Norcross has created a place looks to balance both the body and mind.
The defense techniques are taught such they are applicable to real world situations."

- Justin Gilman

"As an active senior I was looking for an alternative to the gym for staying in shape. The Dojo is exactly the right place for me to be. Teachers and students alike are my family now."

- Kathy Merrick

So after 9 surgeries I was told my martial arts love was over with. I discovered your channel through my wife. She kept encouraging me not to give up.
I went through a lot of physical therapy - better known as torture 101.  I started training with the hanbo and a bo.  I am watching your videos and being motivated by you.  Sincerely, thank you so much!

- Keith Westmoreland

"My personal experience at the dojo is unique. I have studied martial arts for more than 20 years. I have studied Kenpo and Jujitsu mainly. The skills that Sensei Norcross and his staff bring to the table cover all ranges of combat - including ground.
Norcross's knowledge of weapons is phenomenal to include the katana, naganata, staff, etc. The list is endless.
These are the warrior skills that you will learn here.  But you will not learn just defense, but a traditional style of ethical Japanese martial arts.  Come and join us.  Every path starts with a first step..."

 - Ray Oursler

"It is the best place that any one can go to grow their martial Arts skill to Help you defend yourself against any enemy also it has a family friendly atmosphere for all people to learn and to help others grow.'

- S. Velu

"From the moment you walk in the door you just feel these postive vibes swirling around you.
The teachers are patient and kind and the dojo is my extended family.
You are treated as if you were family.
This has improved my life and i have made lots of friends.

The dojo is the best.
If I could, I would give it an 10000 stars."

- Mark Callow M.D.

"I never thought that I would be asked about my black belt while interviewing for a neuroscience job in the medical field, but it was the first question the hiring manager asked me. My time and experience at The Dojo impressed the manager so much that I truly believe they felt confident entrusting me with such an important position involving patients."

- Cole Holt - 1st Degree Black Belt.

"My son has Down syndrome. This was a non-issue for the Owner, Todd Norcross & the instructors there. My son has achieved confidence and body control--among so many other things! He is loved & supported there and trains right along side all of his typical peers. They include him and help him whenever they see he might fall behind. He is a camo-green and working hard on his next level belt. Highly recommended by one grateful mom!"

- Kim Tewksbury

"The Dojo has been a wonderful place that taught me so much about the Japanese Martial Arts."

"This channel needs at least one hundred thousand more subscribers.

Out of all the Ninjutsu/Taijutsu Youtube channels or videos on the internet this is by far the most effective looking, educational and comprehensive schools I have seen out there.

Clear speaking, knowledgeable but also realistic in application.

No mystical or fake looking techniques and down to Earth instruction.

Education in the history and art too.

I would sign up immediately if i could.

Shout out from the UK!"

 - Phil of the Fist

"I work for Child Protective Services and deal with a lot of bad people, and good people at the worst times in their lives. No one is ever happy to see a CPS investigator at their door. I’m investigating neglect and abuse every day, I’m lied to, avoided, yelled at, threatened, and in danger of being attacked. In this line of work, it is easy to get jaded, burned out, and to lose faith in humanity. The Dojo reminds me that there are good people out there. The Dojo isn’t just a martial arts school, but truly is like a family. Everyone there cheers you on and is happy to see you succeed. I truly believe that joining The Dojo is one of the best decisions of my life. My time at The Dojo recharges my spirit and reminds me of the good in the world. I hear or see something every time I’m there that makes me proud to belong to this amazing group of people."

 - Chris. R.  Level 2 student

"I am a shy and quiet person, but over the years I have understood that I have to speak up for myself at certain times.  The Dojo has been an integral part of my life for the past six years.  Out of all of the school activites that I partake in, The Dojo has always been my favorite.  Now that I am receving my Black Belt, the training has just started.  I am going to work towards my second degree."

 - Youth Student Ishani - 1st Degree Black Belt

"Great instruction. I remember when our dojo used to train like that. I fear our dojo has become a belt factory. Wish you were closer. Thanks for producing the videos."

 - Joe M - Dojo Video Viewer

"Much of what I learned is the importance of good balance in your mind.  You must train yourself to take on the mental attacks that will occur on a daily basis.  It is easy to become complacent and lazy.  You can easily fall into ruts of bad practice without knowing it.  By training the thoughts in your mind, you can focus on the positive aspects of life and develop an internal peace and confidence that can only be explained by doing it yourself.  The Dojo helps keep your mind sharp, as well as your body.  I truly feel fortunate to have found this art for me and my family.  I am a Black Belt, and proud of it."

 -  Woody Barker

"World class instructors with genuine caring for their students. The Dojo provides guaranteed success now and for later in life. You'll be glad you signed up yourself or your family"

- Grandmother of Level 3 Student.

"I Did Tae Kwon Do and Aikido. Then I found the dojo and realized how little I knew about Martial Arts."

- John

"I can't say enough great things about this school. Money well spent. My 2 girls confidence is amazing partially due to training for the past 6 years.

I highly recommend this school to anyone. The friendship have been great and everyone is interested in helping each other not outdoing their training partner."

- Regena Wood

"Sensei Todd, your teaching style is just the best!!! I would fly all the way from Australia just to train in your dojo.?"

- J. Daniels

"The Dojo has empowered me in ways unimaginable. Now, I'm not a shy middle schooler anymore. The community and the Art itself has given me something that I don't believe I could have found elsewhere. The Dojo has helped shape me into the person I wish to become. I don't think I would be as confident, as self assured, or as prepared for the future, if I had not come to The Dojo."

- Black Belt Student Jessie Dibb

"My son did "Tae Kwon Do" for a year. I felt he still could not handle himself in a real self-defense situation, so we left. We are very happy we switched to The Dojo."

- Mrs. H.

"After seven years at another, we switched to The Dojo. The difference was obvious. My daughter has become a leader and teacher, with the skills necessary to keep her safe, because of The Dojo experience."

- Eileen McConkie

"Jessie was marching backwards while playing and the girl in front of her took too big of a stride and stepped on my daughter's foot. Jessie was going down hard on the asphalt with no way to protect herself because she was playing her clarinet. Without even thinking (which she confirmed later), she executed a rear roll, popped right back up, and resumed her place in the formation. I watched her tuck her head, absorb the impact, and basically resume an athletic stance as she rolled thru the fall. What could have been a significant head injury, busted collarbone or broken clarinet turned out to be a minor embarrassment for her in front of the directors. She had a little road rash from the fall, but said she didn’t even realize what she did.

I’ve mentioned before that I’m amazed at the transformation you and your staff have brought about in Jessie. I wanted to let you know that the lessons you teach and the skills you impart have a lasting impact. I’m grateful for all you’ve done for her!"

- Kevin Dibb

"Everyone at the school seemed to have this cool sense of calm and welcoming attitude that was infectious. They were everything I wanted to be as a shy seventh grader."

"What does it mean to be a black belt? It means that I am the master of my future. It is proof that I am not a quitter. I am a determined human being and no hardship will stop me from gaining what I wish to achieve. It is a reminder of all of the people who have helped me up to this point and all the memories I share with them. To me, it shows the transformation from child to adult."

- R. Buchanan - High School student

"The Dojo is the best martial arts school. We have been coming here for seven years now, and it has had a profound influence on me and my son."

- Gail Greene

"My grandson was bullied at school and the teacher did nothing about it. Since my grandson has been training at The Dojo, he stands taller and exudes confidence. I am thankful because he has been able to control his own destiny and protect himself in dangerous situations."

- Faye Curran

"The dojo has helped support the values we have tried to instill in our children. Our 9 year old became a black belt and it improved his confidence. Now, our 4 year old has started training, and is learning skills that will last a lifetime."

- B. Singleton

On becoming a black belt at The Dojo - "We all had the same goal. We were all on the same path to reach something that in the past none of us thought we could reach. I have finally achieved that goal of Black Belt, and the maturity and discipline of it as well. Mentally, I can walk around with more pride and confidence than I ever had before."

- Tanner D. Age 13.

"Without The Dojo, and it's society within it, my life would be, honestly, pretty dull. I would not have the disciplined life I have now. I have learned basic morals and discipline in the discussions we have had. Here I am now, with confidence and knowledge, all because of The Dojo's impact on my life."

 - Anant Ramji - Age 12

"Master Norcross is a fantastic educator. His patience and enthusiasm has made a real difference in our lives."

"Shihan Norcross keeps it real.  I watch him on You Tube every week.  He takes the outdated Yoroi techniques and brings them to life.  I would give anything to train under him at his dojo in America."

 - Arjay V. India

"The philosophical aspect of training has really helped me with my overall happiness."

 - R.J.

"Most schools around here are like playtime gyms. The Dojo teachers give a lot of individual attention."

"High fives to the leaders at The Dojo. They teach fearless defense, self discipline, respect for others, and a desire for educational achievement. Best of all, the students have great fun in The Dojo classes!"

- Mary Price

"Many martial arts schools nowadays are highly commercialized, run more like a business than a martial arts school. Often, these businesses teach martial arts as a sport. They 'compete' for glory and gold medals. This is dangerous, because the focus is not on staying alive in a dangerous fight in which there are no rules and you must be resolved to maim or even take someones life to save your own.

The instructors of The Dojo understand that what they teach can help save lives.

They do not teach sport.  They teach for the sole purpose of protecting your life and the Dojo is unparalleled.

This is the finest martial arts school I have ever seen.

They are extremely self aware and The Dojo is run with an amazing sense of passion and sincerity.

The financial aspect of this school is very simple, direct, and fair. and they are very flexible with missed classes."
